Sue’s Salve’s Herbal Retreat offers a chance to get back to the garden, feel your hands in the earth connecting to plant energy, then turning the plants into something you will delight in. A gathering place for herbalists, astrologers, artists and friends to find themselves at home!

Some of Our Retreats….

The house was originally built in 1835 as the Lock Keepers House when the Lock Haven Bellefonte Canal was in existence. Sue bought the house in 1993 and has entirely renovated the house and the gardens. She wants to share her love of home with you. ..

Kayaks are available.

Just walk out the front door

and get in the creek!

Personalize a retreat for yourself or share a private time of rejuvenating with others. Come and experience the pleasures of rural life, connecting to the earth through the garden, local hiking, kayaking or just simply swinging in a hammock reading and reflection. Enjoy being nurtured with healthy meals, finding a quiet space for yourself while giving yourself a gentle getaway .
Sue offers a space for healing and reflection through astrological analysis,  health and herbal consultations. Couples can come for partnership analysis through an astrological chart consultation .
